Client Long Term Relationships
IRL Group Ltd has a strong client base with upwards of 75% of turnover as repeat business. On the back of this approach a Main Contractor, with whom we have a long standing relationship with, approached IRL to supply and install epoxy resin floor coatings for a regular client of theirs and ours.
IRL have carried out numerous areas within the client’s facility and know the high standards they demand. We were asked to apply a surface which would resist engine chemicals, have excellent abrasion resistance and be easy to clean. In addition to these qualities the floor had to be aesthetically attractive and capable of maintaining its good looks.
The specification was for Sikafloor 264 on a 5mm thick Sikafloor Level 30 Levelling Screed to various areas. ESD 4mm thick on a 5mm thick Sikafloor Level 30 Levelling Screed to various areas, along with a further area of Resustat ESM to be installed.
The contract required the works to be carried out over 4 phase visits with each section of floor taking 7 days with some of the works being carried out during weekend working hours. This ensured that the client could still manufacture and supply components throughout the contract period, with the minimum of disruption.
Even with these constraints we were able to provide a high quality & durable floor finish to our client, time after time, thanks to our skilled and dedicated workforce, who produce excellent results.
We are committed to playing our part in halving the amount of construction and packaging waste going to landfill. As part of this commitment over 97% of the waste produced from this project has been recycled and we will continue this commitment throughout 2015.
